TO 20 Hydraulics

Hi All:
I bought a TO-20 tractor this spring. It came with a home made front bucket. Right now the hydraulic supply is coming from the right side of the bottom of the tractor near the foot rest. My neighbor mechanic says he thinks that's the overflow? It only has pressure when the draft control is raised up and the 3 point system is maxed out.
Is there a different way to control the loader using the factory hydraulic outlet located on the left side under the seat?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Sure, however you will see no difference in the performance. Difference is if that is a more convenient place to attach.

The oil path from the pump is through channels in the pump housing to that first port you are taped into. The oil then goes up a stand pipe to the top cover at the upper right port then across the top to the upper left port. All three are in the same circuit.

If you are using the bucket then the lift arms need to be restrained so the pump pressure goes to the bucket cylinders.
