First Fergy

Will try to post pics of my Ferguson with some questions. Is the plate on the engine block factory or is this a rebuilt engine? The date on the tag is 5-62. Where is the serial # ? Do you think the hood can be repaired? Thanks

The tag on the block doesn't look original no. Must be a machine shop's replacement. The top half would have the capital building with the continental engine co printed there. The serial number tag is suppose to be between the spokes of the steering wheel. I don't know one legal reason to remove this tag, but many are long gone.
The hood looks totaled, but there are others out there- where in OK are you??

Well, I'm still a yankee, but I bought a place in Hugo. Old mister Bill is from Mass but in OK nowadays too. Steve B- forgot how to spell his last name, he'll see your thread soon I bet, is further west of you. So you are almost surrounded.
I sure hope the hood ain't tornado damage.... what else is wrong? I rebuilt a lot worst than this one...

Tony, I googled Hugo, Ok. and looked around a little bit but I did not see your truck. You did not break down again did you?

There is a Ferguson club(FENA) if you would like to join. $25 year with 5 issues of Furrow Magazines. Expo once a year. A lot of useful info for anything on the Ferguson tractors. Its a great organization. Go to--- fergusontractors.org --- to join.
