looking at getting a cultivator for my ferguson, and also looking for
a 2 bottom plow. What size cultivator will it handle? It is in good
running order, yanks the sled around at the tractor pull better then
i thought it would.

All depends on your dirt. Dearborn or Ferguson made implements will all work, in general. And are about as big a thing as you want to buy.
Are you in the deep black dirt around Edmonton? Your tractor will have a workout the first time in. The more you work a place, the easier it gets.

Like Tony said Ferguson built a two row cultivator just for the TE and TO tractors. After the Ford/Ferguson split Dearborn offered an almost identical copy of the Ferguson cultivator for use with the 8N Ford. Either one will work fine...that is if you plant straight enough rows to use a two row cultivator without tearing out the plants...lol. The generic one row cultivators sold at most farm supply places work well also. You could kill two birds with one stone and get a Ferguson 9 shank tiller. They can be used instead of a moldboard plow for preparing a seed bed and you can remove some of the shanks and use it for cultivating too. One implement does both jobs. Plus the fact that all 9 shanks are spring loaded so if you hit a rock or root the shank kicks back and then springs forward again after the obstruction is past.

The Ferguson Cultivator was 11 tines, but early on it was 9 tines which was the width of the tractor. It will depend on how hard your ground is as to what it can handle. Don't attempt to go too deep at any one pass, do it a few times if it is hard or uncultivated. Drop your tyre pressures to 10psi to give more contact with the ground and it will grip better. When pulling with the linkage drawbar, always have the 3 point arms a little above horizontal, and attach it low down on whatever you are pulling this puts more weight onto the wheels. NEVER try pulling from the Draft Spring at the back of the Seat it will break something and it is dangerous as it can cause the tractor to rear up and maybe roll over on the driver John(UK)

Went to look at a 'Dearborn' cultivator today, to my surprise it was a Ferguson.
Went home, drove the tractor the 5 miles to the sellers place and picked it up. Great shape, came with spare shovels. Works really good.

Well you didn't buy a cultivator. You bought a Ferguson 9BO-20 tiller. Which is what I suggested you get previously. They are used for plowing and making a seedbed although the can be used for cultivating. Yours is missing one shank though. It's supposed to have 9.
