Some of you may remember I bought that other TO-20 at a tractor show a few months back. It had set in a barn for many, many years. The engine was stuck naturally,so I took the head off after soaking the cylinders for a couple weeks with no progress on breaking it loose. I noticed the head gasket had turned to mush and had been leaking when I removed the head. Of course if the gasket leaks it will let coolant run down on the camshaft and lifters. I finally removed the engine yesterday to confirm my suspicions that it was more than the pistons being stuck. This is what happens when the head gasket leaks and the sleeve orings leak too.
