Ha guys.

Need to did some or a lot trenches, some 300 metres long. I used the blade but this seemd to ineffective. after some research was thinking if you angle the blade as far as it will go, recon this could dig a trench?

Besides that it looks like people use a bottom plough or subsoiler seem pretty good.

Looking for someone that has done this, The trenches are to be about 300 mm deep and would like to rig up something to do the job and hopefully one that will clean the dirt out of the trench as it trenches along?

cheers

Seem to recall from many, many years ago that there was an implement that did just that (for laying underground pipes, underground conduit for power and phones etc).

I think it was a single tyne with share blades, attached to a tool bar?

Yes you sure can trench with a blade. If you need more angle it was recommended to add a leveling box on the left hand side.

OH shagadelic baby!! Looks like Doctor E'ville and his crew of evil engineers in their evil white lab frocks are at it again! They seem to be using a kidnapped fergie to trench the litter box for Mister Bigglesworth!! Best send a telegram to Austin Powers pronto baby!!

pcp,
do not know what you want to lay in the ditch, but here are a few pieces of equipment I have that helps with ditching and laying electrical wire or water pipe.

(anything but a long handle shovel)!!!!!!!!!

if electrical wire or water pipe, I make several trips across the area with the subsoiler to loosen up the soil, before I install the pipe layer attachment onto the subsoiler. attachment comes from agri-supply

other tools like ditcher or pond scoop work fine depending on your purpose.
