Howard Hill Auction #1

I know this is not the place for auctions but it is short notice for the first of two Howard Hill auctions that will be taking place this Friday July 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. I have talked to the estate attorney and the auctioneer and both said they will be selling things as is without a lot of preparation. This auction will be at the Andover location. (1851 St Rt 7, Andover, OH). He had moved some items there but there are still other items at the Windham location, thus two auctions.

I know the scrap man will be there in a big way so there will be some pieces that should be saved. They (the auctioneers) will just be selling to move the items and not to get top dollar for anything!!

Attached is a link to the auction house

There are at least 18 Ferguson tractors to be sold in various states of repair. As you can see from the pictures, if you find it in the weeds it will be sold!!

Help pass the word, I would hate to see a collectible Ferguson go to the scrap man!!

Thanks

Gary

s19438,

You are close to being right!! Howard was a Ferguson nut and a master of Perkins engines!! Unfortunately, he died in late November, but death was recorded January 6. So you are correct, no one was around to mow the place, organize the auction or even find him after he passed.

There will be a second auction to handle the other items he had stored in another location at a later date.

'find him after he passed'..... what a thing to read just before bed time... 'so much to do, so little time' sorta tragedy. wow.

Howard Hill was a long time Ferguson (Massey Ferguson) enthusistrs . He worked for MasseyFerguson Corp.
He came to the FENA expo in Monroe,Mi
It was nice to meet him.
Sorry to hear of his passing
