Marvel-schebler Carbs - how do you know the model?

I managed to lose the intake needle on my TO35 carb today. While looking for replacements, I'm asked to identify the model of M-S carb. No markings on the carb other than the name. The manufacturer's tag was removed before I bought the tractor but I'm confident it is the z134 gas engine.

It really won't matter. There isn't but two types of TSX carbs. Big bowl and small bowl. Yours is a small bowl and uses the same kit as a TO-20,Ford 9N,8N,etc...if you have an Oreillys near you get carb kit 778-505A. Napa or anyone else should be able to cross that number.

Tractor Supply should have it or this site. Any old tractor supplier will also have it.

The folks at Diamond Farm Tractor Parts in Brighton, Ontario, pointed out that there is a small brass disk on the side of the carb with the TSX 683 identifier. They fixed me up with the rebuild kit and all is good!
