fel for 50 massey

Hi I have a 50 Massey powered by a 3 cylinder Perkins
I am wanting to put a front end loader on this tractor
Does anyone know what would be a good loader to install?
Was there a factory option for a loader for this tractor
I am pretty sure tractor can be converted to power steering also Any information on that would be appreciated also

Not sure, but I think Davis used to make loaders for these tractors. I believe they included an extra hydraulic pump that ran off the front end of the engine crankshaft. Have no idea where you can find one. Doubt if anyone makes an after-market loader for your tractor now. I had a Massey-Harris 50 and considered converting it to power steering. Looked like an extremely expensive project, if you can find the parts to do it. I believe it would be cheaper for you to sell your tractor and buy another one that already has power steering and a loader.

Next month I will be taking a Lord loader off a '59 MF50. It should fit yours fine. All there, but the bucket is small and needs welding or replacing. It runs off a pto pump in back. Easy to mount, but limits things a bit. The tractor it is on never had power steering. Where are you?

Kelley&Sons makes a 600 and the 800 to fit a 65 which is alot like the 50. I'm putting the 600 on my 65 and plan to convert my 50 to ps if I can stop the leak on the spare. The front pump models should be avoided as left turns will allow the steering to contact the pump stinger. You can find them with google search and see a pic of their loaders.

Umph. You don't have a brother in law named 'Inno' do you?
Yep, that's the only lake of the woods I ever heard of.
Yeah I'll take some pics later this week, I this all F40's, MHF and MF 50 and 150's will have the same mounting bolt holes in the casting under the radiator, and the length to the center of the rear axle the same.
Maybe you and Inno can carpool to my house. About 1000 miles we reckon...

If you want a front end loader, you'll definitely want power steering! I might have been able to help with some of the power steering parts, but my two have Continental gas engines. I built a power steering system for my 202, let me know if you want to have a look. I do have a front hydraulic pump off my TO35 but it might not bolt up to a 50 with a Perkins. Actually I have the whole loader but it's in pretty rough shape. I'm just outside of Fort Frances if you want to have a look.
30 miles north of Baudette.........that puts you almost in the lake. Are you north of Rainy River or of Sleeman?

I live about 400 yards from the town of Bergland My property is waterfront on Little Grassy River I am a 5 to 10 minute ride from lake of the Woods when I leave my dock

I am leaving to go back to that horrible 4 letter word -WORK for two weeks so maybe I can have a look at the loader sometime after July 17th I will be home for just about 2 weeks then

I drive by your place all the time for work. Let me know if you would like to come and look. Not sure if it would fit or not, the 50 is a bit longer than the 35 but if you get creative it might work for you. It was working when I took it off, I just didn't need another tractor with a loader. The bucket looks homemade, probably be ok for snow but not real heavy duty.

I just put power steering on my ferguson 40 for 325.00 off of a 65
massey ferguson lots of them around just sold a completed set up
needed some work for 250.00. My dad has a complete set up from
a massey ferguson 50 in really nice shape I think he would let it go
for 400.00. By complete I mean it has the lower steering arm that
hooks to the tie rods you will need this it is different from the
none/power steering. email [email protected] or call 920-
