boring pictures

No new post since yesterday? Ok, so here's some of the TEA getting ready to go back together. Too bad the axles I have from the 204 carcass I got last summer didn't fit. Brake parts-rod, backing plate do fit... are those the 'newer stronger axles' MF made? atleast 1/8" bigger diameter. I'm not going thru great pains back there, incase I do locate original axles and housings. The starter bendix must have hit the housing quite a bit eh? It has a key start and solenoid, but I put a new safety start button back in...

That's a good idea Tony rebuilding your te in a salvage yard. Man looky at all the parts in the background.Yeah we are happy to have some pics to look at, been kinda dead on here lately.

Tony, you have far too much time on your hands. These projects are supposed to drag out for 8-12 months for a PARTIAL rebuild. Ok, so that's just me. Looking good. I now see why you have so many tractors, you finish 'em quick and get bored and have to get more. I'm glad I'm not retired, I'd probably have a couple dozen by now!
Keep the pictures coming, 2 is right, it has been very slow around here. All I've been working on is my 4 wheeler.......after spending probably $100 on parts, I find a plugged vent line to the carburetor. Oh well, a few new parts ain't gonna hurt it.

5 &1/2 tractors, this IS a fergie junkyard...sure looks it, all the ...s....stuff ... in the back goes with this 20.
Inno, I was kinda surprised myself how quickly it all came part, only used the torch twice, on the lower link pins. And there is no need for a machine shop, then wait for bearing specs etc, I just got gaskets and it started going back together. Cleaning 59 years of gunk was the only dreary irritation.
Hey in another 6 weeks you me and a few others on here are going to be expected to put one all back together and running in 9 minutes 47 seconds... so this is just practice anyway..... in 20 minutes I'll be back at it again... till dark. How's the bugs up there? The rain brought them out in force this week!

I'll let you know as soon as the rains stop! http://www.fftimes.com/node/270347
Between showers they have been busy breeding so yeah, they are worse than most years. The washout in the news article was last week. We've had much more rain since then. The lake hasn't crested yet and already it's destroying boats, docks, homes........We're high and dry......well the yard is not, but the house isn't letting any in. The horses are living in the barn for now as there won't be a dry spot to be had for a while.
