Inno you dirty dawg!!! I will have to get to Ontario and buy my list of parts before you get there!!!
Yes, '54 as I see it too. Does it run? got the lttle easy to remove distributor top???
Got the original axles and housings??? does your dog bark at night? Do you have motion detecting yard lights? I know it it yours, I recognize the jungle gym and tike transport in the background...

Actually no, it's not mine but it does live up the road from me. In fact, I've noticed a LOT of little Fergies around these parts since I started owning them. It is for sale but I wouldn't pay as much as he's asking...........and I know what he paid for it. It runs, that's about as much as I know about it, went past my house the other day. I filled in a few details for him as to what it was and the year etc. just wanted to make sure I was giving him the right information.

Welllll. we do live in capitalist countries... and we can just suppose he got lucky... and he has a right to 'speculate'... like people selling land in Texas?? ... so how much is too much in the north woods? That is so popular to get firewood, so he might get good offers. I see your... his tag is older than mine too, the difference a year makes?
So... does his dog bite???

And by the way... does that have the hood with the slot? Like 35's and 202's? In '54??? home made or original???hummmmmm

Well he's asking $1500 which, if I knew it was in reasonable shape and everything worked would be worth it. If I were in the market I'd be having a much closer look at it. Not sure what you mean about a hood with a slot? Do you mean a hinged door in the middle?

If it runs as good as it looks, 1500 loonies is not bad.
I am coming to the conclusion the red that makes these look like 8N's is the primer. Harry should have used grey rustoleum. It would have held up another few decades.

You say there are better deals in the neighborhood? I'll be there in the morning....

Yes, the door- is it home made? Far as I know, the US didn't get that door till the 35's.

Don't fool yourself Inno...we all ....need.... another fergie....

From the pictures it looks like a TEA but check the metal of the Transmission Housing if it Elektron it is a TEA, if it is cast iron it is a TO30..John(UK)

Serial Number TEA3782?? was manufactured in 1954. It has a Standard Motor Co engine.

If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it probably is a duck!

Now I can't remember exactly how it went, but Ronald Reagan got in trouble for telling a joke on camera, he thought it was turned off?
It went something like?
'How do you know a Pollock is at a cockfight?
He's the guy that brought a duck.
How do you know an Italian is at a cockfight?
When the duck wins'....

Don't start me............

Q. How many American tourists does it take to change an Australian light bulb?

A. Fifteen. Five to figure out how much the bulb costs in local currency, four to comment on "how funny-looking" local light bulbs are, three to hire a local person to change the bulb, two to take pictures, and one to buy postcards in case the pictures don't come out.

On the American dollar it says "In God We Trust". On British notes there's a picture of Charles Darwin; that says a lot.

The Ferguson weather strips are readily available and include the small split pins.
