Yes, finally an English made engine with timing marks! They line up within a link, so can't get any closer.
Got all the valves apart, none were in the right location, nice for each to be numbered tho, more best of British ideas! Funny that one exhaust had only one spring, the other 3 had inner and outer springs. Tommorrow I'm going to see if ones from a continental will fit.
And the exhaust ports were rather rusty, a tan rust? Ran too lean or ???? The ends of the exhaust stems seem worn, I bet not having those rotors was something to do with it.
