I have a TO 20 I don't use anymore. It has a 5 ft rotary mower attached. I put it on craigs list for 1450.00 I got one person to come and look at it. He offered 1000.00. It runs good, but could use a good cleaning, and a paint job. Should I hold out for more? Stan

If it runs good, i'd definitely hold out for more. Your asking price, with that bush hog sounds like a good price to me. The tires look very good from what i can see. If the bush hog is in decent shape, and the right rear tire as good as the left, you have $700 right there. With that in mind the $1000 offer is less than scrap for the remainder. Where are you?

If I remember correctly, chief is near San Deigo Cal. So it's quite a ways from VA. to haul a trailer.
It looks clean, not abused and rust free. A brush hog around here is 5 bills this time of year, lately non running fergies are several hundred. Yeah, good tires are a big plus.
If you got a tiny bit of room, don't need the money urgently, and MAY JUST need a small tractor again in the future... take out the battery and get a tarp.

Like Tony said hold on to it. Just keep your ad going until someone see's it. It just take that person that is looking for what you have. You could ask more and then take your asking price. Everyone wants to get something for less than asking price. LOL

Hey that's right Miner!! You don't have a 20 do you?? Cheaper than anything like it in Texas, right up the road... a couple days up the road...and you can give me the tires!!!

Location often seems to be a very important component of the price. Thus I cannot address the going price in your location.

That said, $1450 for a good running TO20 with a mower and good tires seems a really good deal. Around here I'm pretty sure you could get well more than that.

That also said, not just anyone is in the Ferguson market. You may have to be patient. If you need the money today, well, that changes things.

I just looked at 19 TO20's on CL and you are next to lowest price. $2,000.00 and more is common.
Jack the price to $2,095.00 and see what happens

local dealer has a to-30 for sale for 2500.00. good rubber, really good tin, engine sound great.
just the tractor no other goodies. I have been trying to make a deal with him but he is stubborn.

I am 30 mi north of San Diego ca. The Right rear tire is very old, but holds air. If I was going to use it I probably would replace it. stan

First mistake is painting the tractor to look like a Ford. Cardboard makes a wonderful edge guard and red sheetmetal sells much better than gray.
Shiny sells.
Hod sells for how much alone? 4, 5, 600? Figure the machine that runs with no smoke, noises should go at least $1200. Shiny paint will get you there much faster.

As is 1200 to 1400 with mower at least another 300 to 400 so you can do the math but if you need it gone set your price low and someone will buy it and you would not have to feel bad if something goes wrong with the tractor shortly after it changes hands good luck
