Reminder of tractor show

It is now only two months until the Northeast Indiana Steam & Gas Association Show in Lagrange, In. This club does put on a great show and this year the Ferguson Tractors are featured. It is not to far to come for a great show. I know the regulars from Ireland will be here, Neil from New Hampshire will be here and I am sure Miner09 will come up from Texas and Tony from Mass. You should also take at least one day to come and enjoy this great show. Oh yes bring your Ferguson if possible if not bring your self and who ever else you would like to.

Any chance there will be a tractor drive during the show? I look forward to the drives too, especially Rockville each year. I would even bring two tractors, so Tony could drive the 35D while I drive the 85D!

The drive will start at 10:00 am on Thursday, Aug. 7. As Mickey said it will be approximately 10 miles one way to an old country store turned into a small little restaurant. We eat lunch there and you can return to the showgrounds or continue about a mile down the road after lunch to the plowing grounds. Detailed information on the show is in the latest Ferguson Furrows magazine put out by FENA. We need people to register for the drive so we know how many tractors will be involved. Registration is also in the latest Furrows magazine.

Oh I see. Torment me for 10 miles behind a 23C? I got to remember to bring ear plugs!
Maybe Miner will want to sail the diesel, I can drive the .... whatever he brings. I am thinking about bringing the 23c- engine only. That's a looonnnng trip with a trailer behind a campervan.

Gosh Rchard I had nearly forgotten about the show already! Thanks for the reminder! I am trying to reschedule our trip so as we can make it for the tractor drive on Thursday, but we cannot bring tractors! AerLingus are a bit funny about over heavy suitcases and above head locker space! Can you find a few spare tractors for us guys? I am sure my mates would just love to say they had done a tractor drive in Ameica! We can help some with the ploughing.... don't know about plowing though......sounds like the soil is not completely turned over when you spell it like that!!!! LOL.......Sam

Sam once you do some real plowing you won't want to plough again. I can't guarantee how many extra tractors we can round up. Let's hope there are extras.

You won't need ear plugs Tony, mine is not that loud, and has been on several drives as is with very little paint. Not sure I can make the drive though unless I can get another day off work. Was just planning on 2 Friday and Saturday. I do have a Ferguson 1 bottom plow I could bring though, if I can get off work Thursday!

Well Rich, if you tell the boss you might have the flu, he might pay you extra to stay home! I don't know how I caught it back in Dec, but I'd pay extra to not catch it again.
Don't worry about the paint, I'll bring a can of Rustoleum and a new brush.

Have not had the flu in ages, but did have kidney stone surgery end of April, sicker than a dog for 2 weeks. Never whish that on anyone! Don't worry about the paint, have some oil leaks to fix on the steering and axle first. Am looking forward to going since I missed last year. Be nice to put some names and faces together!
