The Multi-grade oil for the transmission and hydraulics on this tractor should be 10W/30.
The Shell Rimula oil seems to be for Diesel Engines, if this is the case then it will have a lot of Detergents in it to keep the Diesel Engines clean but that is not good for the Transmission and hydraulics as it will scour the Housing and the crud will be floating around and will be sucked through the Pump continuously.
You are better if you use a normal Multi-Grade oil that isn't for a Diesel engine. The Diesel oil you mention is an exceptionally good oil and would be ideal for the Engine and Air Cleaner in your tractor, but not for the Transmission. The grade that used to be recommended for this Engine was HD30, but if it has some wear in it and the oil pressure is a bit on the low side (should be between 40-60psi) then the Shell oil you mention would be good...John(UK)... fergusontractors at hotmail.com
