Smith's combination gauge

Anyone ever used one of these? They were used in older British cars like Austin-Healey and MG.
I like the idea of a 2 in 1 gauge in one opening and another gauge (probably a voltmeter) in the other opening. I was wondering if the temp gauge sender will fit without modifications. Thanks,
BillL

Interesting:

But I like to look at the gauge and see the normal
operating range to be in the center of the gauge.

Temp is that way, but oil pressure world be a bit
high for my old tractor.

They were fairly standard on a number of UK built cars, including I think the MG B?

You may find the 0 - 100 PSI gauge a bit optimistic for a Continental engine? Even the TEA20 only had a 0 - 60 PSI gauge. I prefer a more suitable range so I can actually see the needle move.

Dash on my TEA20:

Unfortunately I could not get suitable all matching white face gauges. The 30 - 0 - 30 amp meter is useless with a generator that only pushes 11 amps maximum. Lights now fitted so switch holes are now filled.

White faced gauges are available, Bob. TEAs never had an ammeter
gauge fitted, just a light with a chrome bezel....Good repros are
now available also.....In fact TEAs did not even have a temp gauge
fitted, instead there was a blanking plate over the hole, I suppose
they left it for some markets to retrofit a temp gauge if the
customer wanted one?...........Sam

When I bought my TEA20 in 1986 it had only the white oil gauge. I added the other two gauges during the restoration in the last decade.
