New roof on TO35

Well, new roof to me anyway.. I finally put the roof/sunshade I got off of craigslist a few years ago on the TO35. Should make for cooler mowing in the sun. Replaced the center $pindle on the mower last fall. At least the new one has a grease fitting unlike the old ones. Now I need to drill an access hole for the zerk in the mower cover and reinstall that next.

Tooonee would like the use of color, lol. Shade yes rops no.Whats up with the mower wheels being 2 sizes.Looks like you have a head start on paint job.

Nope, not a rops. It wouldn't do much good if you flipped with that on. The mower has the optional front wheel kit installed and they are supposed to be smaller than the rears. When this 35 was put back together some bits came from other parts tractors so there isn't a unified color scheme. If I was ever to paint this tractor I would want a less wrinkled hood and fenders first.

What size mower and brand is that Ed? I've always wanted one with less chance of getting hit by anything thrown from mower.I've looked at woods brand but too expensive.

5 Tractors, Hello, It's made by continental- Belton,
Belton, Texas. 6 ft. cut finish mower. I think it's the only 3pnt. belly mower that was ever made. You can have it off the tractor in 15 minutes, just unhook the 3 pnt. and drive right over it.
I don't think they make them anymore, I bought that one for $600.00 and restored it.Had it for 6 years now and i love it. Got it on my 2000 ford with power steering, I call it my country riding mower LOL.It will cut a 6 ft. path going 12 mph. if you can stand the bouncing.Nice trouble free mower. -ed

Being in Clinton county, we would call this more of a rain roof rather than sun shade eh? Don't let these guys get at ya. Those colors are rather...subdued??? in my book. Yep, lawnmowers have a tough life in the north country don't they? Lush green thick grass... when it ain't snow covered

I have an aluminum pickup cap on my TO-35 for shade. Also have cut down truck caps on my MF-85D, MF forklift, and my tractor show buttbuggy that was built in 2003. They all look ridiculous, but when on a tractor drive and it rains, nobody thinks it's so dumb then. Some day I'll learn how to post pictures, will have the 35 at Lagrange this summer, in all it's faded glory. Hopefully Tony will approve of it as is!

To many projects around here for any painting right now so the parts keep whatever color they came with when installed. Lush thick grass? I've got plenty. Some places are so wet I think it will need bush hogged by the time the ground dries enough to drive on.

I have been thinking about this for almost a year dieseltech... IF.. only if... I went to La Grange with a trailer...I was thinking about building a wooden cribwork around the 23C, no arsend, no sheet metal except the dash, and let the fergie world do an autopsy- or atleast cure the smoke issue. What do you think?

My hotel is powered by a 351. But it don't like hills any more than I do... oh Rich I will eat this diesel engine before I part it out. Heck it's all rebuilt in and out... just that it makes too much smoke for civilized places... or areas with forest fire watch towers...

Wooden cribwork--- wooden--crib--work-- ooh a two holer or one holer? That 23c would work great stiffeling the smell.

ooooh maaaaannnn.... If you get to this year's show 2 tractor... I will be keeping an eye on you every minute. Maybe I should put a padlock on you belt buckle when you get near the engine.... but then... maybe a little pee pee in the fuel tank will cure the smoke??? Not you... that'll be my job!!

I think so, but it's an '88 E-150 campervan. Did they put Windors in them? I forgot where to look for the differences.
I'm just happy it made the trip. Any kinks were ironed out thanks to Jason and Miner.
If I went thru Georgia? and stopped in at 2 tractors' place? ... I'd still be there trying to sober up....
