lift chains

Does anyone on here use chains to control cutting height of their brush hog? If so any pics of how they are mounted to tractor. I want to make a set for my to20 but the only place to attach them is the long pin where the top link spring is. Is this strong enough without putting too much weight on the two mounting tabs that pin goes through. Mower is a 5ft woods model m5. Not a real heavy mower but not lightweight either.

I should have added that I need the chains to maintain the cutting height of the cutter. I just have a small place to mow but the grass is usually too high to mow at the right height the first time, so I have to carry the mower the first time around. It is fairly level with no hills at all only a few holes.

Here is how my 8N is set up. Works very well and would be the same for a Ferguson.

Del May I ask . Where did you get the "keyhole links - were they individual ,or did you buy links & chains? I've been looking for some od those for a while.
