Another question. Where in Canada could you order to replace a 24 T-2 Zenith Carb, 1953 Ferguson TEA? Thanks, Murray

Hi murray, I am in Ontario, just bought one last year from diamond books, in brighton Ontario. they have all sorts of parts, the carbs are pretty expensive. but the old tractor runs like a top now.

Hi, Thanks for the info. Will give them a call. Another question . what was the cost as 2 years ago I purchased a kit from them for the same tractor , the cost was $75.00 . It didn't fix the problem . Cheers, Murray

yea, I had put a kit in mine as well, Ordered it elsewhere, before I knew about them, and I could not get it to run well either, had several people clean the carb for me and borrowed a carb from another tractor so I knew that was for sure the problem. the new zenith carb is almost four hundred dollars. made a nice wedding present for me. but bolted right up and away I went, no issues.

$400 Canadian is a good price. They sell here in Australia for around Aus$450. (Aus$1 = CAD$1).

When I restored my 1953 TEA20 it was before new Zenith carbys were available. I had my old carby reconditioned, including re-bushing the butterfly shaft holes to stop air leaks. Think that cost me around $160 plus a full kit, new float etc another $100.
