Box Scraper

Can anyone tell me how big of a three point box scraper a to20 can handle? I"m debating between a 5 foot and 6 foot. I realize I don"t need to fill the box scraper clear up, I"m more concerned about the weight of then implement. The 5 foot blade is 395 lbs. and the 6 foot is 445 lbs.. What is the three point weight rating? Thanks for the help.

I have a 6ft altas box blade, works good on my TO35
you want one that is at least as wide as the outside of your rear wheels.

be sure it has an easy way to lock and unlock the scrafers, you do not want to lose them or have to stand on your head to take them loose to raise or lower them.

The rating is about 800 lbs. then of course the further back the item hangs the less weight the 3 point can handle.

Thanks for the replies. I'm new to Ferguson tractors. I'm a farmall guy. I bought this tractor from my grandpa. I like the tractor but I need to put a clutch in it. I really have to plan my stops because it takes about 5 seconds for the tractor to stop. First time I drove it I about put it through the back of the shed. It's nice having a three point though.

Your "clutch" experience sounds suspiciously like a situation where you had a bush hog connected without an overrunning coupler, rather than a bad clutch. Just asking, were you running a bush hog type cutter at the time you went into the barn wall?

With that new box blade, stops will be no problem, when you need to stop, just drop that new box blade. Should be a great brake.
