#2..Need info on overhauling the steering gearbox section, Hard to turn and makes grinding sounds when turning

#3.Can a remote oil filer be added to the block like on the T030? Looks like theres a place this could be added on right rear side of block?

Thanks Everyone

Questions 1 and 2 can be better explained by consulting a repair manual. They're not that expensive, a valuable tool for every tractor owner!

About the oil filter... Not having a TO20 block to look at, I'm not sure what fittings are available to install a remote filter. But, all you'll be able to install is what's called a "bypass" filter. This type filter does not filter the oil before it goes through the engine. It simply tries to clean up what is already circulating through the system.

It works by stealing a little oil from the pressure galley, sending it through a restrictor orifice, then through the filter, and returning the filtered oil to the crankcase. It's not a bad system, as long as the engine is healthy and can spare a little loss of oil pressure.

You will need access to the oil pressure galley, like the port the oil pressure gauge is attached to, and a place to return the filtered oil to the crankcase. This will not allow you to remove the screen in the oil pan. It needs to be there, this will just keep the oil cleaner longer.
