Thanks to all who chimed in with ways to get this Mf85 loaded or shipped. I looked online at the gross weight for tractor, loader, and with loaded tires it's listed as over 11k which is twice my trailer size. Over 285 miles one way so several trips is out and I'm backing out. Shipping means sight unseen an I ain't into that so if anyone wants a shot then its on Jacksonville,Fla. craigslist as "unsure".

sorry to hear, they are out there and most of the time w/ no loader. if you are considering looking for another one you might want to start a parts hunt ahead of time for wear items. one drawback for the 85 is on the gas engine no one is making a piston/sleeve kit at a reasonable price(well over 1k)rings and engine gaskets are being made. also power steering pumps are very expensive. but other than that they are a neat tractor. with out wheels weights or fluid in tires w/ 3pt arms and 15x38 tires tractor weighed in around 5500lbs. good luck.

Ooooooohhhh... so thins means me and Jason can't pig out on free beer and chicken lo mein? What a bummer!
Yeah, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to pay a trucker to bring my old friend's 85 here... and... while I was thinking about it, I searched the archives on the massey forum... my cold feet got even colder... it seems to have a creampuff and just maintain it, rather than try to restore a clunker... and figure out which version you just bought... hey that's when I started with the flu... so that put the whole idea off the back burner and back into the fridge... how far are you from Jacksonville? That thing got to be worth a grand in scrap iron? You know any muscle car or military vehicle people? someone might have ideas on getting it done????
