And others who like to taunt us poor northern North Americans who are still stuck in the mud... well, not mud. evil solid ice as solid as the evil wind that never stops blowing from the evil north!!
Sam had me so upset and inspired earlier this morning I ran right out and tried to take the stuck solid in the ice tarp off the long sitting MHF 50... she started up on the first turn... then the front started to rise up... I couldn't figure out what that was all about... then I looked in back... the discs and landing gear strut where DEEP in the ice. I went back in the house to get a camera... and the rig still didn't fall down.... it is still froze in solid, the wind is too raw to keep playing out there.
Yeah.... pictures of ploughing soft ground in a pullover and getting ready to plant good ol Irish potatoes.... all while we innocent colonials must deal with this evil mess... how cruel...

Really? You make me wonder why my tribe left the Isles to begin with. I just might have to see if they'll take me back! How Irish is the Warren name? My grandpa's birthday was on St. Patty's day and I don't like snakes!

Warren is not so common a name here but we do have some families. We also have a port on our south coast called Warrenpoint!

Our snowbanks took a beating about a week ago with a couple of nice days but alas, one week later they aren't any smaller. The freeze/thaw cycles have turned our snow packed yard into a very rough skating rink. Apparently we've broken some cold weather record set in the 1920s. yay
For the next week we won't be even above the freezing mark. More snow last night......... yay
And looking at the 14 day trend, all temps below normal averages. yay
