Your in Virginia? A fella was trying to sell one of those in Or-uh-gun for about a year at 3 or 4K and no takers. Even repainted real pretty.
Time has passed for a lot of older machinery.
Newer stuff is dropping in price so selling a larger well equipped older machine is getting hard to do.
Consult your local craigslist and see what you get.
Nothing local? Look at another state.

Very similar to my 202. I gave $5k for it which, considering the condition it was in was too much in my opinion. Live and learn. Yours, everything working properly, no major leaks and with the extra buckets could be in the $4-6K range I would think.

Edit: But then you figure, a decent TO35 with no loader or backhoe could sell for around $3k, maybe it should be worth more. As stated, prices for newer equipment being somewhat lower than it has been........it's all a game. Put a price on it higher than what you think it might be worth and be willing to accept offers. Price also varies (A LOT) by location.

I am in Ohio.Could I sell the backhoe separately or because of the way it is set up, should it be kept as an original unit?

Again, that all depends. Most people in the market for a unit of this age would probably expect that it has had some work done. Anything with a loader and backhoe on it has probably been used pretty hard in 50+ years. That said, someone looking for a tractor of this vintage probably needs it for some around the home/farm type work and is looking for something relatively inexpensive. Even though I've put some money into my 202, I either would have had to pay to have work done or I simply wouldn't have done all the work I've done with it.

As far as selling the backhoe separately, I don't think that would be a good idea. It could be made to fit other units but not without a lot of modification. That would probably affect it's value.

Pick a together price then a seperate price. Components sold seperatly should bring a higher total price than as a complete unit.

well, that is a nice machine and probably useful just slow, however my experience with guys on this site is if you ask what your trying to sell is worth for, you will usually get low balled on your price. anyways to answer question first I would guess the tractor is what you say it is so that mean easy $2000. for it, being a little older machine I would say the loader is worth $1000. The hoe would bring more depending on the weld job and sometime they leave the shop better than new so, I would guess the weld job at least average and $1200-1500. for the hoe as I said it is use to the rite person and if you can sit on it I would start at no less than $5k or so, to give the buyer a little to come down to your bottom price which need to be determined before you list to sell. thanks for this opportunity to hopeful answer your question.

It's hard to ask the whole planet what a value of something is. Around here, 3 point back hoe attachments are worth more than tractor and loaders, loader a bit more than scrap iron prices- only if it works. In Australia, this combo could be worth thousands and thousands... Local dealers- hey consignment places would have a real world idea of what it's worth- in your area. In the northeast here- 1500-2 grand for the hoe? another 2 for the tractor if the loader works good... and don't hold your breath...
