yeah , here we go To 30 ? here is the # Z 129-343512,this # is on the engine tag, I am in process of changing rear seals I & o , w/ brakes, thanks guys , what do I have & what do I have to be careful of taking apart & reinstalling new parts, thanks ,

Be careful of brake shims, keep up with them and how many, etc. When you put axle back in, turn wheel and if other wheel off ground it should turn opposite way. If it turns same way, axle is too tight, if doesn"t turn, too loose.
 
Phil, thanks for the info on the 30 , how do I start , like do I just put 1 gasket ( shim ) on either side first or does it not matter which side is first, ( should I install 2 gaskets on first side & torque it down to stay on & then go to other side & shim with gaskets the way you are telling about wheel spin direction,
yesterday tractor said to use gaskets instead of the metal shims I had taken out,?

When you jack it up, make sure one wheel turns one way and the other wheel turns the other, when you rotate one by hand. If so, they are correct now. Only do one side at a time. Leave other side intact. Then when you take it apart, put it back exactly same way. Should be good. If not, adjust then as necessary, but unless you lose a shim or mess one up, if it worked before you start, it should work ok when you finish. Shims are available.
 
yeah hey Phil, have you ever taken the axle collar off & saved it , can I heat it & take it off & then heat again to reinstall, when I ordered parts thru Y T ,the guy had told me that they use the gaskets as shims instead of the metal ones that I had taken off,? that is why I asked if i should use 2 gaskets on the first side I reinstall, & then do as you say w/ turning wheel for shimming on other side?
I did find out mine is a T 0 30 1952 by the serial # ,thanks ,
