Perkins A4300

Hello, I have an A4-300 perkins diesel in a 410 combine. and want to put it in a 1080 tractor. anyone know if the bell housings match up.

Yup...you may have to change oil pan and balancer-not all 410s have the same pan...also may have to change flywheel. I've never put one in a 1080 but have done it on a 90 and an 85. Also have made a hybrid 1080 with a 354 6 cylinder. The 300s are more reliable than the original 318-basically the same motor though. Combine motor should have more power than the tractor motor,mine do anyhow.
