Getting ready to paint 1956 TO- 35-Green-Gray. Looking at Fena codes and it shows two grays. Ferguson Light Gray for 56 thru 58 for TO- 35 and implements after 54. Then it shows Flint Metallic Gray 1956 thru 1965 for TO-35, F-40 and MF35. Which Gray has most used and which is correct?

Ferguson Lt. Gray M1011 is the correct color for the sheet metal, Green Metallic M1013 for the engine and cast metal. On the FENA site under resources click "Paint" then click "Paint Schemes". The Flint Gray Metallic was used on Bamboo Beige and Red tractor cast metal.
I've got two "55 TO 35's that's how I"m painting mine.

They were painted two colors of green. No one knows what serial numbers and when it changed. Mine has the Sage Green. It had old green paint that could be scanned under dash and between throttle plate that never saw the sun.

I will presume the flint came with the other MF corporate badges and stuff in... late 57? I bet Harry Ferguson Inc had tank farms full of the early grey, and I bet they wanted to see all that used up first, no matter what needed a coat of paint...
