Saw the 35 pivot pin question and thought I'd ask one of my own.
Is there any way to know before I disassemble which pivot pin and bushing my TO30 has? Any visible difference when assembled or partially disassembled? What's a "swept back" axle that is mentioned as opposed to the other.
I looked at the archives and became more confused if possible.
Any guess by serial number? (Although I realize the possibility of a previous owner swapping different parts out.) Serial number: TO 65934, apparently 1951 according to the serial number chart.
I can tell the pivot pin and bushings are wearing out. It's my only tractor and I use it regularly. Generally I try to have parts on hand when I tear it down rather than leaving it unusable for an extended period while parts are shipped.
Is it reasonable to tear apart to measure and reassemble to use until parts arrive? How big a job is it?
