Thanks to all who replied to my head gasket question. (I started this thread because all your replies showed up as new threads. :? )

I'm just going to get a new head gasket - better safe than sorry, and it might be the most expensive twenty bucks I ever saved, if I tried to re-use the "old" gasket.

Now, to get started on my Craigslist Ad: "Slightly Used Fel-Pro 7558B Head Gasket..." :wink:

Tom make sure you say is was never started with that gasket. Title the ad as used but almost new.
