We have had ppl get these before locally from their supplier, depends how good your local supplier is tho. From your description it reads that it is the vertical rod at the back of the Generator, but there is no joint at the bottom of this, it attaches by the spring. I take it that you must mean the throttle link under the dash panel, you can get these from a Sparex Dealer as part S-42875 (MF part 181672M91) for the complete rod... John(UK)..email@example.com

Sorry for my poor description John ! It was the vertical rod that comes up from behind the generator. It disconnected at the top not the bottom like I previously said. Guess I should lay off the egg-nog when posting !
