Well, could be worse. after he looked over the remains of my totally burnt to the ground barn, the insurance adjuster said 'you must be one of these guys that laughs at someone who leaves equipment out in the middle of a field or next to a stone wall, but now you will realize, that altho they blow off now and then, and get old and need to be replaced now and then, tarps don't blow down burn down or fall down when loaded with snow. And, they don't attract lightening, antique thieves or tax collectors....

Nay bloody worries mate. I forgot when that fire was- over 15 years atleast. in the 90's anyway. No great loss, I wasn't into fergies yet... couldn't afford an MF anything back then... only Fords, AC's- and of course tools, lumber, some hay, supplies, very old buggies, sleighs, that sort of stuff we took great pains to get INTO the barn... an electric fence charger overdid itself. Nothing outside the barn even a foot away was affected at all... funny how that happens huh.. I have since become a collector and conisuer of fine nylon tarps..
