TEA20 will not re-start

1952 TEA20 85mm 12V. I recently changed the sediment bowl assembly as the shut-off valve had failed on the old one.I drained the gas from the tank and replaced the sediment bowl.
It fired right up as usual, ran it for about 20 minutes then shut it off. Tried to restart it after about 15 minutes - no luck!. It will turn over but will not start - the red ignition light does not turn on when the key is turned to start. Could it be the ignition switch itself? Any ideas?

Pulled the plug out the bottom of the carby and got no gas?
Got a volt metetr to check for voltage at the switch?
Pull the cap and crank over. You ought'a see a spark at the points while cranking.

That's three ideers.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Gas does run out the bottom of the carb - a fairly steady stream but I'm not sure how much should flow.
I will check out your other two ideas tomorrow.

Have you dislodged or strained an ignition wire when changing the fuel bowl ? Check the wires to the coil as well as the ignition switch .

Got it running today: a new switch made things a little better (it would cough) but still wouldn't run. Tightened and cleaned all connections, new plugs and condenser and she came to life! Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.
