TE20 sure seals

I must have the operating principal of these seals confused.
It seems to me that these seals would prevent the lubrication of the axle bearings by diff oil.

How do the bearings remain lubricated?

You pack the bearing with grease before installing the seals , just like a regular sealed for life bearing.

Instructions say to use short fiber wheel bearing grease. That will be found with drum brakes.
3" 3" ABS pipe makes a prety good install tool. A cap on the end also helps as well as a chamfered edge on the seal.
