As I continue to slowly dis-assemble the TEA20, I am getting confused, and the more online research I do, the more confused I get.
I came to the conclusion the axles and trumpets are Ford, totally different from a fergie... so I became suspicious of anything without the HF in a square as in my other- US made 30, 35, 40 etc.
There are obviously never buggered with factory TEA items, say, all the cast alu-min-E-um stuff. Tranny housing, tranny top, steering column, sump... all very not US or ford items... but nowhere an [HF] or part number.
So? What"s the guidelines here? which TEA parts have what for markings? Which are unmarked? Or please point me into a direction to read up on this. As I was talking to miner about, if these were collected as ford model A"s or military vehicles, every nut and bolt could be researched as correct or replaced... does any of this matter as long as our fergies look and run good???
