Christmas tree field trip

Went over to my brothers in VT to pick up a christmas tree. Got out the MF50 I have over there to go up the hill out back where the previous owner had planted trees to eventually sell but never used any. They are a bit big now but I'm going to set this one up outside. It was a nice view but all I had was my cell phone which takes lousy pictures. Was a fun day.

Umph... I get a chill just looking at it. Did I ever tell you how happy I am to not be so far north anymore??? It's cold enough here. Where in VT is that? Well east of the lake from the looks of it. I hope you had fun.. I wouldn't if I was there...
 
He is just south of the Border and just west of Richford. My cell phone always thinks it's in Canada when I'm there. It was -2 when he got up to go to work today.

If you have trees that are too tall, you can cut them off a couple of feet above the ground.

We used to do that when we were kids, and for basically the same reason - Someone had planted a whole bunch but had not harvested them.
