Time to park the moldboard plows

Some of you have heard me talking about the MF #62 plow that I am reverse engineering into a Ferguson plow. I have most of what I need but I went to the dealer today and checked on a few things and found out that they are obsoleteing everything for those plows, and some newer plows. I knew the older Ferguson plows didn't have much parts support but I thought the newer plows would continue to have support for years. I guess the chisel plows and no till have killed them off.

will be a while before I can park the old MF62 or MF64 disc plow.

as I do not have a tractor tiller for my old TO-35,

if you sow a cover crop in the fall, sometimes they can get away from you, if you have a wet spring, as we did last year.

I have used a tractor tiller (borrowed unit) before and it worked great behind the TO-35. However, I was using it in ground that I had plowed and disc before I used the tiller.

do not know how the tiller would do in heavy thick spring growth trying to get it turned under so it would rot.

still, I would love to have a tiller as it would look good sitting out on my equipment ready line.
