Howdy.Have a Friend with TO-35 Diesel he took it in place of cash for a debt. He used it but its a hard start. He is going to scrap it for 9 cents and he hates to do that. The tin is so so the tranny is H/L. I know I cant sell it here on the forum. However I need a realistic price as to what its worth or as a parts tractor just scrap price. I know this is hard to say without a photo but I am a Ford N guy and on the N site we hate to let it go to scrap. Just a ball park on the price an what level of interest there is on a TO-35 and if anyone is interested will follow the rules and post it for sale on the site. Thanks

Well it is 1800 mi west of you. It is a running parts tractor. The pinion gear is bad, needs the engine R&R a in block rebuild wont get it done. He ran a mower and snow blower with it a few years. The tranny works fine all gears.

35s are fairly desirable. A big part of the price is the condition of the tires. Tin described as "so so" by one person might be thought of as "not bad" by another. A picture would really help if you can get one. Condition of the hydraulics and how tight the steering and other things are is a factor. Either way, it would be worth more than scrap.

Tony should buy it just to get a different injector pump and injectors and revive his fogger Standard.

Tony already has the late style pump on his with the light load advance. Mine is the first pump with fixed phase timing. I suspect he still has other trouble as mine does not smoke like his does.

I knew you'd read this dieseltech! Hey you are 1000 miles closer to it than I am... no matter where it is!!!
You and Dan just want to see me in an early grave from working on these diesels... so you can get good deals on all the gasoline models at my estate auction... 5o% buyers premium if I'm institutionalized but not really dead...
Personally, if it was closer, I would pay twice scrap value just for the live pto arsend...

You are 560 miles West hes willing to meet you somewhere in Wyoming He has photos he will send you.

Hey Tony, I prefer to have very few gas burners around, unless they are LP. That's the best way to get a gas engine to behave like a diesel. Do have a confession to make, just bought another red one, diesel too, but IH. Model 84 Hydro that needs some tlc.
