If you have a high voltage coil, you can open the gap wider for an even better spark and further improvement in performance. I've run my TEA20 (with the Pertronix high voltage coil) with plug gaps of 60 thou and feel the tractor runs even better. I also suspect the plugs will last almost indefinitely.

Bob we are more than half way through winter and the TEA-20 is running like a top and blowing lots of snow.

Your suggestion about the electronic ignition was spot on. The tractor starts better than it ever has and lots of power. The new carb helped also.

Again, thanks from the hinterland of the Canadian Foothills.
