Hey Hodgy, I have a 54 Tea-20. I work at Kearl outside of Fort McMurray but live in New Brunswick. Get lots of wet heavy snow down east. I put a Pertronix ignition on my Fergie and a new Zenith carb last year. It starts amazingly well and runs great too. Have pushed a lot of snow and now with the tires loaded it should do even better.

Hi, don't intend to steal your thread, where in the Maritimes did you purchase your carb, or another location in Canada? Cheers, Murray

I got my carb from E-Bay from a supplier in England, even with the duty and shipping it was cheaper than buying local. It's a Zenith, can't remember the model. My tractor had a Marvel-Schebler off an N series tractor hacked up onto it when I got it, didn't work well at all.

Hi, sorry to bother you with a lot of questions. Where procedure did you follow, when ordering through ebay? Thanks, Murray

Amazing what some new parts will do for a 60 year old tractor !

I opened the gap on my plugs to .40 and I think it gave me a better spark too.

Yes the calcium helps a lot and I have chains on top of that.

Blowing a bit of snow here in the foothills but it is that light, fluffy Alberta snow, not the backbreaking, wet NB stuff you get down East.

My V-Type single stage snowblower works great here. I have some videos on YouTube of me blowing snow with that set up.
