TO 30 Z-129 Front main oil leak

Alright everybody I recently aquired this tractor and found that it once had a loader installed (radius arms bent/reinforced, hood hacked open to check radiator (missed with the first hole) and fill fuel) I noticed that the front pump shaft is still sitting in the middle of the front axle pin and it likes to puke oil from the front seal once you shut it off.

Is this common to machines that ran a front mounted hyd pump? Or is it just due to the fact that it's 60 yrs old?

Anything I should know about pulling the front pulley? I plan on yanking the front cradle off to replace the hammered pin and bushing anyhow. Do they make a repair sleeve for the pulley if it's scored heavily?

Thanks

Nothing out of the nor m if you work on engines. I. will bet the
pulley won't come off easy with the pump shaft on there all
these years, go easy, try not to break it, but most all these parts are for sale here tho. While you have the cover off, triple check the gov parts.....

So the cover has to come off too? I can't just drive a screwdriver through the old seal and pop in a new one? Or does it go in from the back?

The front cover is a smooth bore where the seal
slides in. You need to make sure it is flush in the
back
