Why do the English get all the good stuff?

I decided to look thru the Sparex England catalog and what do I find? Not only can they order parts online over there but you can order a brand new Massey Ferguson disc plow. Two or three bottom. Why can't we get the good stuff over here? Are they holding a grudge against us?...lol

They shure are, bet they are keeping all the Lucas electrics aswell! lol
I am suprised you don"t get Sparex in America, they even have depots here in New Zealand.
 
Yes they are,but try to order any of the things in England's catalog. They can't order them. That's what my dealer told me. They can only order what is in the USA catalog here.
 
Not everything in the English cat is ex stock here in New Zealand either, but they will let you order it and it will arrive on their next shipment by sea freight from England, the same goes for Vapormatic parts too.
 
All Sparex parts etc are available from Sparex Dealers in USA and Canada, they do not deal direct, you need a dealer, who is often your local tractor dealer. Sparex is part of AGCO the parent Co. of Massey-Ferguson
 
I know, but my local Agco dealer said they could only get what is in the Sparex USA catalog. I had asked about the 26" discs for the Ferguson disc plow. They are in the English catalog but not the USA catalog.
 
Is there another dealer that you can check with? I got a feeling that your dealer just didn't want to go to any extra trouble. I have seen it happen more than once. Dang fools don't realize that going the extra mile is what keeps customers coming back!
 
I know that in Australia one can order any part in the Sparex inventory, but some deliveries from overseas may take some time to receive.

Find a more cooperative dealer.

That may be true, but I find that a lot of the US Massey-Ferguson dealers can be less than helpful and will not put themselves out for you, they often will want to supply what they have in stock, not what you want. It depends on who you speak to as well. I often get this said to me by people who write, not all the dealers are like this of course but it is knowing who the good ones are. I would email Sparex in the UK and ask them the question and then you will know for sure just what is available, they may supply to an order

Our local very friendly farm machinery dealer, Mounts Machinery agents for Iveco, New Holland etc is both a Sparex and BareCo dealer. They assure me they can obtain any item in the Sparex or BareCo inventory.
