have a to 30 ser#82172 should be a 52 what is the proper size work light for the rear and did it have a red tail light also trying to restore to original i found the head lights with are 6 inch is that the size for the work light

The work light is the same as the headlight only it has a switch in the housing to turn on and off. The tail lights were Taurus taillights. I do not know if they are reproduced but the ones from the Ford side are very similar.

Did you find the original CM Hall head lights? That is what is supposed to be on Fergusons. They should have CM Hall stamped into them and have two screws for the trim ring. I have seen lots of Ford N series lights trying to be passed off as Ferguson lights and Ford did use CM Hall lights on early 9N"s but they are made different and as far as I know all Ford lights used a single screw clamp style trim ring instead of the Ferguson two screw style.

yes i found a pair of hall headlights with wing mounts and back plates had to get new 6 volt bulbs and wire clips just found one more for the back not having any luck finding the taurus tail light that is being sold for price i can pay will keep trying thanks for the info

found a web site Lighting-Systems1.pdf http//fergusontractors.org/fena/wp-c by Phil Fenner complete info on ferguson lights and wiring thanks again

Hi Bill-
Well, the guys are sort of right in that the CM HALL LAMP CO. of Detroit, MI made the headlights for Ferguson TO20's/TO30's but they have the later logo 'HALLAMP' stamped on back by the mounting bolt. The early 9N Ford-Ferguson used the CM HALL big truck-style headlights. Both Ford and then later Ferguson used the TAURUS taillight in their lighting kits. Ford used them from '39 -'49. Now, Hall made taillights too but I thin they didn't come out until after '52 -check the FENA site. I have a few original TAURUS taillights, an original HALLAMP taillight, and an original HALLAMP worklight for sale so email me if interested.
