Just have your dealer order from Sparex. S.41169 for the cap and S.42374 for the rotor. That's the part numbers for a Lucas distributor with threaded terminals.

Thanks Jason and Charles for the info. I have saved the Bare-co site as they have lots in there.

I remember reading somewhere that AGCO had bought out Sparex. I wonder why my Massy (AGCO) dealer could not find the cross reference ?

I installed electronic ignition last week and it sure made a difference. I wanted new cap and rotor along with plugs just to make sure everything was good.

Yes Agco does own Sparex. Why your dealer didn"t look in there I"m not sure. Google Sparex USA and go to catalogs and they have a Ferguson catalog you can look at online, but you have to buy the parts from a dealer.

Even tho this is an early fergie, why don't you just post something on the Massey forum about your parts search. there are a few people on there in Alberta and BC, they might be able to help you with a local ...knowledgeable?? parts place.
