TO35 Governor Pics, who's got 'em?

I was tinkering with the governor on my 35 this evening. I don't have a tach installed so I'm not sure of my rpm but I'm pretty sure it's well above the 1000rpm threshold where it should be working. If I bump the throttle up higher and test it (brakes locked on in 3rd high) it will move the throttle lever but it's too late to do any good at that point. It takes more than a second to start moving and from what I read it should be instant. There is no binding whatsoever, I have adjusted as per instructions sent by John (UK) and over on the FENA site and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything correctly. The last bit of the instructions state that if everything seems to be done correctly with no binding and no loose connections then it could be the governor bumper spring extending too far out from the cover assembly which will require me to remove the front cover. Also, it states that if you disconnect the governor lever spring from the lever assembly and move the lever assembly to the idle position there should be no springiness there. Well I do have quite a bit of springiness.
So........I've never had one apart and the pictures I have are scans of photocopies of scans of photocopies or something like that. Does anyone have some pictures they can post before I tear into it?

I have several picture of them, have never posted pictures on YT. Contact me directly and I will send them to you.

I checked my pics and have none but there's not much in there to see. You got the crank gear with oil pump gear below and the cam gear with the govenor ballbearing assy. above. My standard has 3 hinged swing weights instead of the balls and I hear they are interchangeable. Also in the manual there's a statement about an oil hole in the camshaft that when blocked will no allow the govenor to work correctly.

Thanks for that. I will probably just tear into it like I normally do and learn as I go. It's not critical but for some reason just knowing it's not working properly is a problem for me. For what I plan to do with the tractor I can tolerate it not working properly.

I found these of my TO35 when I had the engine on the stand. I didn't do anything with the governor as it was working fine so I don't have any picture of it disassembled.

Thanks Dan.
I guess I'm just trying to figure out how it works before taking it apart. Does anyone have a pic of the inside of the front cover?

VT Parts, I did a search and found one of your auctions and I was able to see what I need to see. It all makes perfect sense to me now.........such a simple fix but a pain in the butt to get apart.
