PAW and hood

well I got the center lined up where I wanted it and clamped it fast and off to the welding shop we went. it is now permanently attached to the rim. I also took my two button hood to the same shop and they fixed it so that the flap works like new. the side opposite the buttons had become detached.

It sounds like a traumatic thing to do, like major surgery... but unless there is an 'agricultural' reason to keep twisting those rims in and out, it will be best in the long run.
