If you're interested, just put "tractorhouse" in place of "external_link": I think it's an 8N, listed as a TO-20.

If it is an 8N Ser No 20689, it was built in 1947.

I don't know US prices but 1,800 bucks seems a lot of brass for a tractor in that condition?

I agree, Bob.

I check that website occasionally, and the "asking" prices always seem high.

Many/most of the listings are from dealers; in fact, my local John Deere dealer has a 9N Ford listed that looks pretty rough, also with an asking price of $1,800. (If it starts/runs it should sell for about $750.)
