looks real nice great job can"t remember but did the 30 have the temp gauge or did you drill the hole for it?

Looks beautiful, Del - great work. (I"d say your spray painting turned out just fine.)

Now, if you"re bored, you can head south and do the same thing to my TO-20!

By the way: what"s that parked down at the end of your lane?

Nice. Someday, I hope, I'll have the time to do the same for my TO30. In the meanwhile, we have a deal: It works hard to earn it's keep, I take care of it and try to make sure each repair makes it better than it was when I got it. Someday, I hope, I'll do it all up right.

Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks Tom, I ended up using the rattle cans. I have the 2N and the 8N down there for sale. Did you get those fender bolts out yet?

I don't think they had a temp gauge originally but mine already had the hole and a non-operative gauge so I replaced with a new one.

Fender bolts are exactly where they were, Del - I haven't been to Harbor Freight to get some tall jackstands, so I can get the rear tires off, so I can get to the bolts...well, you know the rest.

Did some other stuff over the weekend: replaced the PTO assembly, flushed out the air cleaner, and started brushing on a little paint.

I checked out your ads elsewhere on this site: they look great - good luck with your sale(s).

Trac, Del is correct you do not have to drill a hole there is a blanking plate in the dash for another gauge. Once you find that spot just a little to the left of the volt meter it should tap out with a small hammer.

Looks real good, what a big improvement. I wish you health to enjoy it!...Tell me did your rear rim bolts all go in from the loop side like on a Ford or did they leave the factory with the bolts in from the centre disc side?
Not a criticism, but it's just I have seen many done that way in America and I would like to know!
Sam

Thanks, the rim bolts are square neck carriage bolts so had to go through the loops first to keep from turning. I put the loops to the outside to get the spacing I wanted. I mounted the rims on the center disc before mounting them on the tractor. Is that what you are referring to?

That"s Purty! I am also impressed with the paint job on the shed and the landscape job around the area that you also did!

Great job! Sigh! I had mine almost that good four years ago and didn"t keep it up so I"ve got to redo a lot of surface rust around rim loops, lift parts, and dings but seeing yours reminds me how good it can look.

Thanks to all for your kind words and comments and to all the members of this forum for your help along the way with this project. Thanks Again.

Del
