What year is my tractor

I am working on a tractor for a friend and I need to get a manual. The cast numbers under the steering column is TO-3551 and the serial Number on the plate is TO-23262 If i read the chart right this is a 1948 TE-20 is this right ?

Look at the chart again for TO20. I think it is a 50 model. You might have been looking at chart for TE/TEA 20 .

Are there any other numbers or marks that I should look for to make sure I have the right model and year.
With a serial # OF 23262 I was not sure where it fell in the list .

If it were a "TE", it would have Lucas electrics, an aluminum transmission case and imperial sized fasteners. Standard wrenches wouldn't quite fit!

That TO-3551 is not the serial number all of the TO 20 and TO 30 will have that TO-3551 on that particular piece of the steering column. That TO-3551 is used for the foundry that pours that piece and for the assembly line people. If the serial number is on the tractor it will be on "TOP" of the dash between the steering column and the hood. There is approximately a 3 X 4 inch thin aluminum plate that is held on with 4 rivets and the number is stamped into this plate.

Sorry did not read your post all the way. You do have a 1950 Ferguson TO 20. Cast numbers below the engine oil dip stick should show you Z 120.
