Tried JB Weld on a spot weld on the running board - didn't hold, so need to REAL weld:

Almost ready for paint:

Sanded and primed the front wheels today. (No photo.)

Pivot pin/Bushing, Tie Rod/Drag Link Ends, Spindle Bushings, Bearings and Seals, among other things, all ordered.

Cylinder head should be back from the shop this week.

I'm planning to get a few things put back together (like the front end), before taking anything else apart.

Looking good there Tom. You want to do mine next? I've
already got my tie rods and spindle bushings and bearings
here, I just haven't had time to do it between baling hay,
planting corn and all the breakdowns in between.

Let me practice some more on mine, and I"ll get to yours next, Jason!

Actually, even though I"ll never do this on this tractor again, I wouldn"t mind doing it on a different tractor: now that I"ve gained some experience, seems a waste not to use it.

I"m glad that I"m not working on a deadline (other than the first big snow), and that I don"t have to use this tractor to do any REAL work, like a lot of you other guys.

Tom, look at this jig-saw puzzle and this is not the big stuff. Hope I took enough pictures and can remember where it goes.

This cheap and simple to make angle grinder
handle/bracket makes the job of wire brushing small
components a lot easier and probably safer .
