if the engine is good I am happy. the fan did move and the owner swears he had it running. if not good I will have a lot of TO-35 parts for sale.
$850.00 and that includes delivery to my house. (12 miles one way)

Wow! The PA rims are worth more than that! Yeah the pain of tying down, wrestling ramps, that's a 50 right there, so you did ready well.
It must be a Northern Irish version, a small tank with real petrol to start, then switch over to discount whiskey....
It don't mater what's wrong with it, the price was right-congradulations!

Good deal! Looks like decent sheet metal and those rear wheels and tires are a bonus. That must be an early block without the power steering pump hole. I wonder if you can get that steering wheel off!

Looks sweet it's a keeper but don't listen to Tony and pour whiskey in that tank you might not get straight corn rows after that makes it hard to pick.

Headlights'I'm guessing live pto but the old stile block but good tires and its not a 23c--its a part of the herd!!

thanks fellas. I thought I did ok but it feels good to hear it from you guys.
first project will be to get the calcium out of the rear's and fix the rust at the one valve stem.
then comes the steering wheel. should be fun ???
then to get it running and hopefully it is a deluxe model. the clutch does have a stop 1/2 way down but that doesn't always mean anything.
ser. no. is 152969
eng. ser. no. is 613314. I emailed j. moons and he gave me a production date of 5/31/55 with a shipping date to massey of 6/1/55.

Give us the serial number including letters, I believe an 'M' is dual clutch. A 3 position PTO lever is another clue it was -assembled- as a two stage model. Time changes things tho... it has a small lawn mower tank because? It doesn't have a big tank? They're around... so are air filters.

the ID plate has no letter prefix. my other 55 to-35 also has no letter prefix and this one has dual clutch and instruments. . my 56 to-35 has the letter S which is for standard as it has no dual clutch but has full instruments.
the previous owner had the fuel tank and air cleaner in in a junk van on his property. the fuel tank looks to have been coated with a black material. time will tell if it is any good.
I sure would like to know when massey started using the letter code prefix. I am fairly sure the letter code was not used in 1955 ???

The difference in dashes is the slope of the dash where the instruments and data plate are mounted. Both pictures are of '55 TO 35's, the gray one is serial #147089 the red one is serial #156085.
