building bridges, the Ferguson way

This evening we were getting our Ferguson stand ready at our big agricultural show. I was asked to provide the vintage tractor display, so I chose 60 years of Massey-Harris-Ferguson as my theme. My friends decided to also put on the old Harry Ferguson promotional trick of two Fergusons with Bananna loaders lifting another one up to form a bridge for people entering his stand to walk under. Ferguson always insisted on white picket fencing along the stand frontage....so we had that to make also.....show opens on Wednesday...we will have more photos.

As I sit here in amazement, contemplating the physics and imagination of this feat of mechanical engineering... all I can think of is the timeless words of Rudyard Kipling and Carry Grant.

Micky, the show in Ohio is on my 20th wedding anniversary!....... So I might have female company with me this year! I still do hope to make it over, providing the cost of my flights don't get any higher!
